Universities love CAPS!
The national CAPS Network takes pride in the students that graduate from the CAPS programs at their school districts. CAPS students are making innovative and inspiring contributions to their local communities with the professionalism and problem solving skills that they have learned. Post-secondary institutions are seeing major changes in CAPS students who have enrolled in their universities. University of Missouri said, “The University of Missouri works to translate the latest research into practical applications that improve people’s lives and drive the surrounding economy. MU also strives to develop and deliver the knowledge and skills throughout the region for individuals to thrive in the fast-changing multicultural environment of the 21st Century. The CAPS model falls right in line with these goals.” Passion-based learning and responsiveness are two of the CAPS Networks core values. Something that we look forward to exposing students to when they join Southland CAPS. Take a look at what other universities had to say about the CAPS Network.
